  8.      South  Coast  Engineering  Services  is    announcing  the intro-
  9.      duction  of  a  new  BBS  support  product:  The Ring Count/Reset
  10.      Device.  It is designed to reset the  host  computer when the CPU
  11.      has locked  up or  when, for  any other reason, the BBS  software
  12.      is   unable to  recycle back  to the call waiting status.  It has
  13.      been  tested  with GAP single  and  multi-node, Wildcat!, PCBoard
  14.      and several  other BBS  software   programs.   It works  with all
  15.      network workstations,  but is  not recommended  for   a   network
  16.      server due  to the  abrupt hardware  reset.    Because  it  is  a
  17.      hardware device, there is no interaction with any loaded software.
